How Weapons Work in Lineage Piece

Weapons define your M1 combo damage and weapon-specific skills in Lineage Piece Roblox. Unlike combat styles that grant ability rotations, weapons are swappable items bought from island vendors or crafted from boss drops. Starter and Early-Game Weapons

Katana (D-tier) — Default purchase at Dawn Wind Village from the Katana Seller. Adequate for levels 1–100 but replace immediately when you reach Deeproot Jungle. Dual Katana (C-tier) — Sold by the Dual Katana Seller on Deeproot Jungle; a stepping stone until Gryphon or frost-zone upgrades. Stylish Bandit Slayer (C-tier) — Dual crowbars from early vendors; required for the Shadow spec quest chain later. Gryphon (B-tier) — Found stuck in the ground at Deeproot Jungle; buy without special materials. Reliable through early mid-game until Yoru or daggers.

Mid-Game Weapons

Tensa Zangetsu (S-tier) — Ichigo Bankai boss at Legend's Arena drops materials for this burst-heavy sword. Excellent combo potential in PvE and boss fights. Most weapon masteries follow a three-part template: deal a large cumulative damage number with that weapon equipped, use weapon skills a set number of times, and defeat a specific boss repeatedly. Excalibur mastery ties to Saber kills; Player's Dagger mastery ties to Sung Jinwoo kills; Raiden Shogun mastery ties to Raiden raid completions and Archon race ownership. Start mastery tracking early — passively working toward damage dealt thresholds while mob farming saves hours compared to rushing mastery after you already finished a weapon grind.

Switch weapons at mastery NPCs only after reading the next tier's full requirement list. Abandoning a half-finished Excalibur mastery to chase Tensa Zangetsu without Ichigo spawn access stalls both progress paths.
